    1. All over the air games need to be added to MLB Extra Innings.
    2. All FOX Saturday games unavailable in your local market should be added.
    3. All Braves Games via PeachTree TV should be picked up in the HD Version.
    4. DirecTv needs to hurry and work a deal out so we can get WGN in HD.
    5. Make All Toronto (CBC,TSN), San Diego (Cox 4) and Chicago (WCIU)
    games available in HD.
    6. End All Blackouts once and for all for every paying customer of MLB E.I.

Note* #6 is what MLB should focus on the most.

I would also throw in that all games that are on an OTA network and in HD be available on MLBEI and games that are before the Fox window be added to the package.

Not too many changes I would make except for the Saturday afternoon thing.
Almost every(if not all) Mets game was in HD. No problems renewing for 2010.

Not Directv's call. MLB rules and regulations. Samething with Fox's Sat. afternoon games.

Chicago (WCIU) games are CHICAGO LAND ONLY as well SOME WGN 9 HD games (candida systems as well)

MLB needs to change the rules.

5A. MLB uplinks CSN Philly HD and other cable only for the games.

5b. In market people get that feed for free even if comcast does not offer CSN Philly / others to sat tv.

6A. your local TEAM is Never blacked out even for make up games that are in executives windows.

Number 2 is part of the Fox agreement with MLB. Not sure when it ends, but unless they change that part of their agreement, Saturday afternoon games will still be Fox only.

Didn't D* get the CSNP HD feed 2 seasons ago, but for some reason they didn't use it last season?

Yep... I am forced to watch the MASN feed whenever the Yankees play the Orioles or Nationals, and although MASN was better last year, there were still some non-HD games.

MASN will be 100% HD for all Oriole and National games this year via MASNHD and MASN2HD.

But I thought all the Yankee and Cub games were HD last year?

Actually, it is up to Fox. CBS provides alternate basketball to DirecTV subscribers. CBS and Fox alternate football via Sunday Ticket. ESPN provides alternate games to satellite customers for a variety of sports. And (I think this is still true), NBC provides alternate NHL to Center Ice and ABC provides alternate college and pro basketball to satellite systems.

I think Fox gains NOTHING by not providing those games to paying customers.

(Hint, though...often the Fox Spanish station has a different game than the local OTA. That is available on DirecTV, but only in SD.)

Never said it was. It's a wish list. Everyone knows MLB calls the shots, not DirecTV.

Maybe not at the corporate level, but the local affiliates certainly do.

Only games from Rogers Sports Net were in HD.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for these things to happen. As long as the laws in the United States are the way they are, you won't see most of those things occur. WGN and TCI were never on good speaking terms outside of Chicagoland. I would doubt a deal that isn't far below market value for the station would ever be worked out. Number 3 probably requires a new contract as well. 5 won't happen due to Directv hasn't add enough PPV HD and 3D HD PPV yet. PPV contracts are more of a priortity for them right now. They only picked up certain COX4 games and others like it, just to say they had it in HD. 1 and 6 will probably never happen. If fox drops baseball, then someone else will probably have such a window instead.

I think that has more to do MLB rules as most of the wgn games are on wgn america. (a few of them are Chicago land only) (a lot of them moved to wciu to make room for more CW stuff) the cubs have more day games then other teams.

But the new cubs owner may move more games to CSN.
