I'll check it in a few hours when I have reason to go back in there.
I refreshed my reciver and I see all the MLB Channels currently says to be announced on all the channels but by Sunday that will change.
I called to cancel, since my bill was $161 (up $20 due to swapping Starz for HBO, and switching from TC+ to Choice Ultimate to get TMC and Encore... Didnt realize it would jump that much (might have been the partial month last month) but still surprised me. The CSR asked why I was cancelling, so I honestly told him it was because the MLB had failed to fix the rediculous blackout rules, and that DirecTv had raised prices beyond my satisfaction. He immediately offered me $10 off for 6 months to keep EI. I took it this time, but next year, MLB better fix the blackout issue. I just cant justify the price with the blackouts, even though I know its not DirecTv's fault. $132 for the package makes up for the missed games, and all the FOX Yankee games Ill be turning off.
I've never had a issue with MLB Extra Innings since I became a subscriber back in mid 2007. I usally get my local games for the cleveland indians on either WKYC-TV 3 NBC or on Sportstime Ohio.
D* just put up the EI channels today. Freebie for the first week as usual.
Yep, and looks like the game mix channel is back in both SD and HD..
Well, I'm ready for the Baseball Season to start. My Wild are all but mathematically eliminated from the NHL playoffs (I imagine that will be fixed on Friday when either the Wild lose again or the Avalanche pick up a point to mathematically eliminate them).
Time to switch out the avatar. Next on deck is a Vikings logo for this fall.
several dual feeds on directv on opening day. no phillies of course
ekravitz I think that's because the phillies 1st game on monday vs the nationals is on WPHL-TV.
D* seemed to have more WPHL games last season than CSN Philly for some reason. Hopefully Satelliteracer will chime in but it could be that it's possible we may have to wait for some fiber connections to be re-established with some providers before we see feeds from them again such as CSN Philly, Rogers Sportsnet and SD4.
This is my first season with extra innings on directv, last season I had on cable, but didn't directv use the WPHL feeds last season?
Where is everyone seeing the scedule? I cant find it anywhere. And no phillies on monday at all? Please tell me thats a joke.
its on the Program Guide
yeah it's the MASN feed
As the season goes along directv will get the feeds for all the teams.
even the CSN Philly feeds?
I just check the MLB Extra Innings channels and the dual feed and it looks like Directv is picking up the WPHL-TV feed of the phillies vs nationals game on Monday afternoon.
The season is upon us
Just wish opening night wasnt Yankeeeees (gags) Vs. Redddd Sawkkkks (Pthhhhhbb!)
