Your probably inside the Phillies area,so yes both would have to be blacked out. You'd have to watch the game on CSN on cable.

    WHat a day.

    A no hitter.

    Five 1:00 games on EI.

And now another amazing event this Saturday.

Fox has televised both ends of the Mets - Cardinals double header!

Hello !... This is my first year subscribing to MLB Extra Innings on DirecTV and am really enjoying watching all the games in HD, especially the MLB Game Mix Channel.... However, I don't understand why they black out the taped replay games on the RSN's (of the same games I've paid for in the Extra Innings package)..... Is there a legal/competitive reason why MLB or the RSN's care that only the live games be seen ? .... What possible threat could taped games represent especially when the viewer has already paid to see them ?...It's not like we're trying to get something for free that we don't deserve.... (I'm also a Sports Pack subscriber and have all the HD packages)...

On the other hand, I don't subscribe to the NHL Center Ice package yet the taped replay NHL games are not blacked out and are in the clear for all the Sports Pack subscribers.... I would really appreciate someone explaining how any of these "rules" (MLB/NHL) make any sense.... Thank you !

By the way, amazing (historic ?) game tonight between the Mets and St. Louis on FOX....

Is there ANY way to watch the Mets and Cardinals? My Fox affiliate carried White Sox and Indians, and now its just showing reruns.

FAILING a way to watch the end of this game, what addresses should I aim my hate mail at for best results when I flame Fox and MLB for allowing the travesty of not letting a paid Extra Innings Subscriber watch this game?

This is bull****. This is why all Fox games should be on Extra Innings as well.

My Local FOX station carried Mets @ Cardinals today. It was a LONG day for FOX Saturday Baseball. Game ended around 10 p.m. They played 20 innings. Hey FOX It's time to restructure the MLB Saturday Baseball exclusive rules. Time for other areas in the country to be able to see these games that they are missing out on. So some areas in the country didn't get to see the game. I would be highly p.o.'d if it would have been a team i had interest in and I couldn't see it. It's Time for more "Revisions" to allow for ALL of the FOX Games to be aired.

Have not been on here for a few days...but wanted to share something kinda funny. A few days ago I had an issue with my HD channels not showing up at all...SD was fine, though, but obviously a terrible picture.

I was put through to THREE people, and none of them were any help. Finally I get a tech person who does everything in the book...still nothing.

Mind you, I'm already receiving a $20 credit for six months just for asking...

Now, because of this issue they extend me ANOTHER credit for four months of $11.99 per month on top of this.

So, $200 for MLBEI... Minus the $120 credits (the six month deal noted above) takes me down to $80. And then take off the (almost) $48 for the next discount and I am going to get the package for THIRTY-TWO DOLLARS this season!!!

And the fix for the HD issue was that, within an hour, I noticed my bill showed the HD payment showing up for the MLBEI package, but at no cost (just needed to be activated). All of this kept me on the phone for nearly an hour and a half, but was WELL WORTH the time!! :)

I was wondering how the FOX execs were feeling about their entire Sat night primetime lineup being bumped for the 20 inning game. FOX really needs to go back to a 2pm or 3pm eastern start except if it's a west coast game. I also think its time to dump the regional concept. I was surprised that we here in the Boston area got NYM/STL because we almost always get an american league game.

Regional games are great ! I hope they never drop that format.
I wish the NHL would go back to that format.

I am OK with regional, if the out-of-market games are made available to those willing to pay (I believe that Center Ice made the NHL regional network games available). With Extra Innings, it is commonly the case that a critical late season game is missed because one is not living in the "right" region.
