If these apply to MLB.TV then why was the Astros/Rangers game available last Sunday Night? The exclusive window only seems to apply to Fox's contract with MLB.TV.

Edit: I just looked at MLB.TV's schedule for Sunday and both the Marlins/Braves and White Sox/Rangers are NOT scheduled to blacked out nationally.

I saw this yesterday on the MLB.TV site:

    http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/subscriptions/index.jsp?product=mlbtv&affiliateId=MLBTVREDIRECT

Regardless, if those games are available on Sunday, that would just be a bonus!

The Rangers have an agreement due to the weather conditions here in the summer which allows them to broadcast their home games within the usual (ESPN) blackout period of Sun evenings.

How come other teams don't get to broadcast later because of hot weather? It's hot everywhere east of the Rockies this time of year (not just in Texas).

ESPN should just always show the Rangers on Sunday evenings, they are literally the worst team in the MLB to be a fan of because if you are not in their market, you are guaranteed to miss more than half of their games on weekends.

Here's something I didnt understand. I live in St. Louis, and yesterdays Cards game was originally set to be on FOX SATURDAY BASEBALL. But Fox dropped it, the Cards moved it to a 535 Central start time, and our local NBC affiliate picked it up. I thought all games on Saturday scheduled in that window can not be shown. Is there a loophole that says if Fox drops your game, it can be aired? Also, I saw it in MLB EI as the Brewers picked it up at as well...
Just thought it was odd for both, my local affiliate abilities to carry it, along with the other part, where EI could have it, when it started in the FOX SATURDAY window.

    Any clues?

MLB gave the Cards a waiver because of a concert in/around the Arch Park area, and the Cards did not want the game ending too close to the concert. obvious traffic issues

Since the ESPYs were live last night, why is ESPN enforcing the early blackout on this Sunday's MLB games? Last games listed are the 2pm eastern games.

There's never been a local feed broadcast of either of those two teams on EI that I recall.

Good question. Guess we'll find out Sunday if that's an error or not. What I HOPE is that they are doing that in order to replay those damn ESPY's. Enough already.

I had Monday's games on my guide last night. From my short experience with DirecTV is that only about 4 or 5 days of EI games are normally listed. Someone that has been around longer than me can verify that.

Sorry, I meant online. When I checked there were no games listed on Directv's website for August 9th or 10th. They are now listed there.:)

Yes, Listings have been incorrect all day on the EI portion of the guide.

Some of the games are there, some are showing Sunday 8/15 games.
