Has anyone canceled extra innings since the delay of the baseball season?

You have until opening day to cancel which now looks like it may be around Memorial Day.

I would hope the price gets reduced .

And folks with NBA or NHL get a refund as well

It had better be reduced if there's a partial schedule. I was wondering last night if I'll be charged this month even though the season is delayed.

Stopped my auto renewal for MLB EI.
No need to activate the Multi Sports Pack for MLB Strike Zone as well.

Well that’s is an automated thing and it’s not at all shocking they didn’t bother to pause it because they get their orders from a bean counter idiot.

Next bill is due to be paid on March 21. In Month 7 of $60 X 12, and in month 4 of $10 X 12 Premier discounts.

    Called today and canceled EI.
Rep said the first installment would appear on the bill.
He then issued a credit against that which already appears in my "Recent Transactions".

While I had him on the phone, mentioned I also had a Premier discount which expired in February.
6 months of $7 discounts for HBO, Cinemax, and Showtime, totaling $21 per month.
He could not re-instate that, but issued a one time $21 credit on my next bill. Already appears in "Recent Transactions". And then said to try again next month.

Finally, he gave me a $10 one time credit for, well, I'm not sure what!

I canceled Extra Innings because I got the runaround about Marquee Network being available in New Mexico. Since then I subscribed to MLB TV directly to watch the Cubs games. Now I'm gonna have to contact them to see if they will give a discount on my subscription. With this coronavirus virus going around, people are out they minds.

Since you are out-of-market for the Cubs, you would most certainly get Marquee televised games through MLBEI. They will appear on the EI channels between 721 and 749.

You just won't get channel 664.

    Hope this helps.

I doubt there was a decision. It being an automatic thing it probably didn't cross anyone's mind that the charge should be suspended.

My first payment wasn't scheduled to be billed until today. I called on Monday to make sure they wouldn't start charging me and the CSR said that with the season suspended, they had already stopped the scheduled charge.

So, of course, when I checked my statement today they charged me. Never fails.

One would think they would have programmed the billing system for this delay

I will check my account an call soon . Plus I think one of my discounts drops off

I got NBA LP free when I ordered the service this year. I hope they give me and others next year for free if the season is cancelled.

Sorry compnurd, it's only reasonable to expect credit when you've paid/are paying for a product that is not being delivered.
When it comes to MLB, Extra Innings ought to come with a considerable discount. Baseball fans won't get six months of games, so why should we pay for six months?

I wasn’t referring to that. It was the post above about they got a package for free and expect it for free again

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... don't say that too loud.
Employers will use that logic not to pay people who can't show up to work. ;)
