Anyone that has NHL Center Ice notice tonight's game for Montreal at Winnipeg for 7pm EST is not listed in the NHL Center Ice schedule on the Directv.com/sports website nor listed in the guide? Usually by now, any issues are fixed in the guide, but I have never seen an issue not fixed less than 12 hours before the game.

The game still does not appear in the onscreen Guide and nothing popped up at 7:00 EST.

    But a couple of things:

    1) The game will not appear on 215-1 as that is an alternate channel only open to those in the Boston and Washington markets

    2) The NHL.com schedule for US users only lists US Television channels on that web page.

769-1 is showing the traditional HNIC doubleheader from CBC, and the Habs - Jets are on SportsNet, so it's a surprise the game has been forgotten.

Edit: The SN feed of Habs - Jets is live on NHL.tv.

It is pretty bad that Directv makes a mistake like this. How hard is it to ensure all games are covered. In Demand has it listed for the Cable providers. No excuse for Directv to make a mistake like this.

I was looking for that game, too, without CI. NESN has Caps @ Bruins NHLa has HNIC Ottawa @ Toronto. I am lucky to get CBC Montreal OTA which I thought for sure would have it - nope, it has Ottawa @ Toronto game, too. The only place I can find it is 98.5 FM au Francais and 690 AM in English.

Update: The game is on TVA Sports, which is cable/Canada only.

Who said this was a mistake? No guarantee with CI that all games will be carried.

If its on TV, which it is on Sportsnet, it is supposed to be carried. In Demand has it listed for the cable subs, so no reason for Directv to not have it.

Odd. I can't find anything on NHL.com or DIRECTV.com that says 'if its on TV, it will be on CI.'

I don't see where it is carried on SN, at least according to their site. Unless "HNIC" doesn't just mean CBC...

That being said, there is no guarantee that all games are carried. I believe the exact wording is "up to 40 out of market games per week." It's garbage that it's not on, but we are lucky with Directv to have as much HD and feed choice as we do when compared to other providers. Locally, on cable, only 1 feed of a game is available and few games are in HD.

The team's web site says the game is (was, at this point) being shown on TVAS and SN.

Has the French feed of the game ever been used on Center Ice?

Edit, I had the spreadsheet from the site posted here... and it looked all pretty until it actually posted. The original link to the schedule is in post 10. I only see a check in the "TVA Sports" column and under "other" it has HNIC. I have always thought that HNIC meant CBC, but it's not there as we've talked about, but I know there is a partnership with SN for the HNIC games. I just assumed that they would use the SN column if the game was there. I am not the biggest hockey fan but I do like the Habs and the Hurricanes. Either way, it doesn't matter. There are broadcasts available for the game. There are a lot of RSN subs lit up tonight, with the NCAA conference tournaments on, so perhaps that has some weight on it.

I've heard a few games in the past in French.
