New York, NY: Senior officials of DISH Network said last week the satellite broadcaster was closely watching the burgeoning TV industry in India to identify new channels for it's South Asian bouquet in America. The Director of International programming at Dish Network, said the South Asian division at DISH Network had continously grown to be the most comprehensive unit outside of its hispanic television network. DISH Network is likely to expand 145 International channels including 34 channels from South Asia. During the informal chat with the media, Dish nework was facing with programming challenges given the overwhleming interest evinced by a number of channels from India to join DISH Network's South Asian bouquet. While DISH Network is working to bring more channels from South Asia on the DISH platform.
