Ok, so how's everyone doing with the lip sync issues? It's been doing it pretty much non-stop here on both of my HR21s.

    No noticeable lip-sync issues here.

Of course it's difficult to concentrate on it when Megyn Kelly looks so stunning this morning.

    Thanks Stuart.

While I do not regularly watch this channel, I am appreciative of the fact that others do....so for them....more HD is good HD.

Not having lip synch problems, but the PQ on "Huckabee" seems extremely soft for some reason.

Still having lip sync issues on both HR2X receivers. But I've had the same issues on other HD channels when they just lit up and eventually they all cleared up. Since I have FNC on most of the day I hope it clears up soon.

I have to wonder if Fox is using some of the same software reputed to be used on Barbara Walters and other older newscasters that removes wrinkles on the fly.

I had a very slight audio sync issues with FOX the other day. It did't last long and all seems well now. Not using a DVR just H20s and H21s

Back in the MTV days they would put a sheer cloth in front of the lens, almost like panty hose to make the person look younger.

As for Foxnews HD, it has the same problem as with all these types of channels, the side bars are worthless. Wish they would get rid of them.

All 4 hr20/21 receivers have the lip sync issue on Fox news. Some receivers are connected directly to TV, others are connected through my preamp which I can use a lip synch function on the preamp to adjust it. But when I change the channel I have to adjust my preamp back so the other channels look on time.

Agreed. They have one line which makes no sense without the context of the whole story, and the worst is when they show the stock market going up or down on the side bar when it is always on the bottom of the screen. Personally from a format standpoint, I think that wing info box thing and the scroll underneath have all seen it's day. Go back to full screen news shots or do something else.

I bet the World Series on FOX will have lip sync issues. The NLCS had severe issues I had to watch it on channel 88

Well, it seems like a bunch of people are still having the lip sync issues. I hope DirecTV sees this or is already aware of it and working on a fix.

I am not a heavy viewer of Fox News, but I do notice the lip synch issues when I am watching it. I agree the side bar is pretty useless. They got to "HD" by stuffing an SD picture with sidebars into a wide format. But I notice other channels do much the same at times, Fox is not alone in this regard.

There are lip synch issues for sure. For those claiming that they do not have any, watch it closely. Audio is slightly ahead of video.
It happens on all my DVR's.
