Still no San Bernardino and Huntington Beach, CA; also KLCS 58.
Yeah, I keep checking. Maybe soon.
Has anyone heard when Birmingham, AL might be getting PBS in HD?
Folks, Now that the day has come, let's reserve this thread for those people who wish to report that their PBS affiliates are live. Questions and comments about other PBS affiliates can be made in the "More HD in 2009" thread.
WOW it is working thanks "D"
Maybe there could be a separate "New PBS Locals in 2009", rather than burying it in the More HD in 2009 thread?
PBS-HD (Ch 11) is up in the Des Moines DMA. There is no HD content until about 45 minutes from now, but the channel is present. I'll report on video quality when I see some HD.
Ya, I need me some Supernatural in HD
PBS KERA13 is up & running in 1080i in the DFW texas area
Great. Thanks for the info. Satelliteracer!
p.s. to all - not complaining on PBS - just wondering. I certainly feel for the folks still waiting for their locals to be HD - hopefully they'll all have them soon...
Still no PBS joy for Seattle
Is there a schedule posted so one can see when their area is slated for PBS HD? (Raleigh, NC)
Any upcoming news for San Antonio?
Yea! I can finally retire my Silver Sensor antenna. Thanks for the update!
I'm hoping we get CW, and mynetwork in HD soon too.
I noticed that I had to manually turn on 6 KVIE (Sacramento), the HD feed, in my favorites. Why is that? Also, of course, had to migrate my to do lists / recurring recordings manually. If I wasn't reading this board, how would I ever know of "new" channels or feeds?
PBS (channel 35) is up in HD in Grand Rapids DMA when I checked last night.
:feelbette:cuttle: Thanks for thinking about those DMA's without local HD & PBS.
Why did they not turn on the Des Moines HD PBS for the Western Iowa DMA? Is the same channel repeated to about 5 stations all over Iowa, everyone should be able to get even if your not in the Des Moinnes DMA.
There really is some pretty awesome stuff on PBS - but without HD it's not the same
