When i had a genie installed a while back they installed the swim set up in my attic.
there is a little loft in my attic where i wanted it but the installer said they can not put
the swim unit on drywall, i would like to move it my self, now do you
think it is because of the weight or the heat that they are not allow to.

My first question would be is it working right? If so why move it? And as far as heat id never mount it without standoffs to keep it away from a wall.

What do you mean by "SWM set up"? a splitter, switch, PI?

yes everything, and it is working.
there is a little access panel to get in to the rest of the attic
and part of the the splitter stick out and it right next to the the
top of the heater unit with all the ducts connect.

Are the cables long enough or you need to make splices to make them longer?
