I currently live in a townhouse with D* installed on 5 TV's. My wife and I are moving to a split foyer house built in 2007 that has C* and E*. It appears there are individual runs to the living room, 3 bedrooms and large family room in lower level. I am looking to have D* in the living room and the family room but having a 2 TV bar setup in half of the family room and home theater in the other half. Problem is there is only one coax jack in the family room, can it be split there to 3 TV's? I just want to be able to tell the installer exactly what my needs are, understanding there may be additional costs to me in the install.

Current Setup: HR24-200 and (2) H24-200 in three TV array in Man Cave, H24-200 in living room and H24-200 in kitchen, SWM, Whole-Home DVR

Yes, if that leg is not spit between the 4-way splitter in the room and the SWiM-16

You should think about replacing the H24-200 in the LR with a HR34.

And to keep track, it is the tuners that matter and not the receivers or TVs. It is 8-tuners that is max for a SWiM-8 and for each leg of a SWiM-16.

A HR2x has two tuners. The HR34 has five.

Thanks for the help. We tend to spend most of our time in the man cave (old house) and will spend most of the time in the family room in the new house, hence the HR24 in the man cave/family room. So there will be a total of 4 tuners in the family room between the two H24's and HR24. Love having three college football games on simultaneously in the fall.
