I think this thing is ready to post for the new users. No real changes that warrant a revision that I see.

BTW, I'll be gone for this weekend's CE so unable to help with any possible MRV changes.
Will be back from Valparaiso, IN on Tuesday though.
Maybe I can get a kiddo to download the CEs for me while I'm gone.

We've specifically been asked not to. When the changes come... and there will be changes... we don't want an outdated doc out there.

    OK, thanks for the update!

To answer questions, can I assume it is OK to cu-n-paste some of the stuff, like the basics?

I can only offer the word "soon" .. I know that's lame, but it's true.

As you might imagine, this was the week we were supposed to be rewriting this first look .. perhaps next week.

Yep, what with remote delete and all we'll have a few changes.

Can I assume that it is a stupid question to ask if there is any chance of getting the CE early?

It is not a stupid question. I'd be very surprised if you could get the CE early.

    Middle...
You know, what with my gallbladder deciding to try to kill me, the hospital-bred super-cold that knocked me out for nearly two weeks after that, and my refrigerator dying the day after I got out of the hospital, I kind of forgot that this was in work. Anyway, now that I'm healthy again I'm glad to try to contribute once more.

So anyway . . . is it too early to start noting the changes that will likely have to be made?

    1. Playlists will (obviously) be consolidated across the LAN to the extent allowed by each machine;

    2. A summary of the changes in the menu structure (the new Location menu and its options), plus discussion about when that menu won't be visible (non-functioning network, for instance).

3. The functional implications of remote delete and the sharing options, once we figure out what those are of course. For instance, if someone is at Box A watching a show from Box B and someone else at Box C tries to delete the program being watched from Box B, how does all that work? Etc.

In short, there's gonna be a lot of work on this probably over the next week or two as things change and the bugs are quashed.

    EDIT
I kept wanting to publish it and Stuart and Doug kept slapping my hands!

So is the new NR 0312 supporting MRV as a client?

edit - I guess that would be a no.

    Here's a few new caps:

    ChangeOrderOfPlaylist.png

    FilterByPlaylist.png

    LocationName.png

    PlaylistOptions.png

    SortByCategory_All.png

Let me know if there is another cap that we need.

BTW, did not get my H21-200 updated last night as it is inaccessible during the download window. I'll have to physically move it today and update it tonight.
