    Is this POS 722 toast or is it normal for it to miss a recording. The weather was clear and signal is in the 70's. It is a M-F timer.:mad:

    Press the DVR button three times ... then arrow up in the list until you find the program. Is the program in the list? Is it marked "Skipped"? If it is in the list select the program and the reason will be shown.

    My timer did not kick off on my Miami local channel 23. The timer log shows up empty as if nothing was scheduled. There was no log. Can someone please confirm if Charlie was moving the birds last night which caused my channel 23 to be unavailable from 12a-1am.

    The DISH CSR are useless....:nono2::mad::nono:

    And the version number of the service description table that tells the receiver the details about each channel. But that changes at most every four hours anyways. There were no changes in the table at midnight. At 3am ET ... well that is another story.

    So it is once again Midnight in Florida. kcolg30 ... did it record tonight?

    Yes, it recorded today. I saw your post about the UPLINK report. I did see that channel 23 was moved to another transponder on the day that I missed my recording. Could that have been the issue.

    This is from your UPLINK report see below....

    8838 WLTV (23) MIAMI, FL (UNIVISION) moved from 3s15 (Miami) to 3sB21 (Miami) at 119° (SD Miami, FL market Hidden)

    As stated, nothing was moved at midnight. The major moves were made at 3am ET (with more moves at 3:56am ET).

    Could it be that your time zone is different than mine indicating that the move was done @ 3am but since I live in FL it was actually 12am.

    When I say Eastern Time I mean Eastern Time. 3:01am ET.

    BTW: We're on the same time zone. And if we were to believe that 3am my time was 12am your time that would put me in out in the Atlantic Ocean. :D

    The only thing I can see that was FUBAR on that day was earlier around 5pm EDT the programming was interrupted with an official DISH screen saying that there is no need to call us. We are working on restoring your service..etc, etc, etc. And it only displayed on that local 23 channel.

    That screen is normally generated by your receiver when it fails to receive a signal from the satellite.
