I was invited to "run sound" today for a band that was invited to play at a local watering hole. The problem was that the only thing that was mic'ed were the vocals (three), one of the two kick drums and the hi hat. Of course, this was the perfect setup to let the two guitar players go wild, and they did. All I could do was run the vocals up each time that they cranked up to 11 (or more). They, and the audience, loved the sound and want me to do it again for them, but I told them the "next time" they would have to invest in a 100' snake (a bundle of wires with all the mic cables in it) and more microphones so that I would have total control. As they are just starting out, I did it for the fun of it, and, overall, it was quite fun.

    Here they are.
