Did you guys watch of the Mega Marathon? It was neat seeing some of those episodes again.
I've always wondered about this like procurement of items. I'm thinking in many ways it's easier now (except for things like the tanker). In the early days, I'm sure it was more "Why do you need so much of..." and now it's "The Mythbusters need this? We'll get that right out!"
Yeah, it was definitely interesting to watch!
In some of the early episodes they talked about donated cars for some of their bustin', small budgets, etc. They definitely have come a long way.
Anyone else still watching the final season?
Next week is the series finale and reunion show. I'm going to miss it. Not only is it entertaining but you actually learn something.
I'm still watching. Happy there will be a reunion, sad it's because it's the end.
Reminder, tonight is the series finale and following that will be a reunion show with Grant, Tory and Kari.
Over too soon. I expected the reunion show to be during the season, not an "after show". The final show should have been experiments ... going out big, not with a whimper studio reunion show.
Maybe they will throw in a gratuitous explosion at the end - one of their myths was "is it better to end on a bang"? Didn't the producers watch the show?
I hear they will explode a cement truck. Again.
I totally agree with you. It's over way too soon. But it's been on for 14 years, so I wonder if Adam and Jamie want to move onto something else? Or Discovery just doesn't want to pay for it anymore? Or a combination of both?
****One more reminder, tomorrow, Sunday, on the Science channel at 8pm EST they will be showing an unaired duct tape episode. Set your DVR's.
DVR set, thanks for the reminders.
From the clip I've seen by Adam, I'm even moreso thinking they got tired of working together at the same time Discovery wanted to move on as well. Sounds like they will not be collaborating anymore.
There is also a "Science Channel Reunion" show at 9pm EST with a 3/6 first airing date.
I watched the final episodes last night ... they seemed to be a fair sendoff and the "reunion" had some candid comments about what the cast liked and did not like about making the show.
I wonder how much Jamie will miss blowing stuff up?
Whatever Adam and Jamie end up doing, I hope they enjoy it.
BTW: I like the after credits scene from the reunion.
