Yeah I caught that. Maybe we'll get most races that way soon. Be nice.

Indycar got their sponsors on board, probably due to low numbers to begin with, but NASCAR has not been as lucky so far. The networks that carry NASCAR races have been working to get sponsors on board for this for years.

Yeah I saw what Fox did at Dover. It was very surprising.

Also I serve on the NASCAR Fan Council where I receive a survey each Monday following a race where they ask a variety of questions. Judging by the survey, NASCAR is extremely interested in knowing what the fans thought of the side by side. They wanted to know which companies sponsored the side by side and how it made us feel about those companies. It will be interesting to see how it all develops.

He's lucky he didn't kill someone. I am sure that, as usual, he will fail to take responsibility for his actions. His statement means little as it was written for him by others. You can tell...he would have written it in crayon.

It is Kyle, so I expect he'll keep racing on the track. Just when a guy starts turning around his reputation he does something stupid. :nono2:

I'm not sure that he ever did anything to turn it around.

    Sunny...
I clicked this link for the first time and got...

"Your responses for this study have already been received, thank you."

Sadly, Nascar is all about Brian France now and his WWE vision of money!!!!

Big Bill & Bill Jr. must be rolling in their graves if they knew/know what Brian is doing to the sport. - SPORT - makes me laugh!!! No longer a "sport" as Bill Jr. said and advocated for many years but a "sport" AKA Vince McMahon of the WWE!!!

It's now the almighty dollar and the ME-ME-ME generation we have created with all this technology!!! :nono2: :(

If you just go to www.nascarfancouncil.com there is a link towards the bottom right. Not sure why the above link changed from what I copied.

As far as the state of NASCAR, I don't let it get to me. I usually enjoy the racing and enjoy attending races. The only thing that is annoying is that track position and clean air tend to be more important than a fast car. But I like the new points system and the changes they made to the car as well as their focus on driver safety.

Well I certainly enjoyed yesterday's race. Got to watch the 24 from the 11 and 22 cars quite a bit.

Thank you ESPN!!! AB, DJ and Andy are by far the best NASCAR announcers on TV. What a pleasure to watch after the TNT crap. Nicole is nice too. ;)

Are you kidding me? Bestwick is the worst guy on the air and Andy is no good. As for Nicole she's good to look at but dumber than a box of rocks, "He's going for his 5th win at the Brickyard and he's a 4 time winner". Don't you think one implies the other? duh!

I think she actually refered to Daytona instead of the Brickyard.......

No, he has 4 wins at the Brickyard and was going for his 5th but she sounded like a moron saying it the way she did.

I agree that Alan Bestwick is the best announcer in NASCAR. ESPN's crew and production is probably tied with TNT as my favorite. I can't stand Fox. Mike Joy is OK but DW and LM suck.
