I went to Conawingo Dam in Maryland on Saturday to check out the Bald Eagles. There were between 75-100 bald eagles there and it was an AMAZING sight. The eagles were fishing, chasing each other, and just plain looking majestic.

    Good website: http://www.wildlifesouth.com/Locations/Maryland/Conowingo_Dam.html

It's midway between Philly and Baltimore, and I highly recommend the trip. Better than an Alaskan cruise for eagle viewing and it's FREE!

There are eagles by me, but smaller birds of prey are more common.
