Just saw this on the D* website $29.99 for 6 payments seems pretty reasonable or a one time $179. Do they give deals like they do for NFL ST. This would be my first year with NBA League Pass

Don't they also give you $20.00 off if you order early? or did the price go up $20.00 to $199.00?

The price I mentioned above is the early bird offer. I called yesterday and had trouble understanding the rep I was talking to. I'll try again today and see what happens. Im tempted to do the one payment like I did for NFLST.

bill you should be able to order the package on i think channel 108 right around their starting 10/1/10. I think right now that channel is taking orders for NHL CI.

What I usually do when I order packages is I choose to use a different credit card and just pay it in full 179/ thats about 5 .30 a week for nba games not bad.

So I see preseason games are being listed in the League Pass package but is the package under FREE preview during the preseason?

Well to answer my own question, I guess they are showing the preseason games on League Pass for free! I'm not a big NBA fan but it's neat that they do this. I wish the NHL would do this on Center Ice so I wouldn't have to buy the Sports Pack for preseason!

    Colorado...
I got it for $100... just call and ask.

This is the first year I ordered League Pass... does it work like MLB EI? meaning its a remap of the sports net? so you can actually watch the sports channel?

I.E. with MLB... I watched NESN... for NBA, I should be able to watch CSNE... not the NBA channel number?

hopefully for you guys directv will show both feeds of the nba games like last year! so if your a celtics fan you can watch both home and away games with the celtics announcers mile &tommy. I wish verizon did thisI have a feeling i'll be coming back to directv when my contracts up with verizon! damm verizon just gave nba league pass basically for free!! $20.00 off a month for 1 year!! as happy as i am about this verizon doesnt show EVERY GAME IN HD! much less dual feeds like directv, which is why i might return to directv especially if directv brings back tivo!

Thats what I was asking. If its just a remap of the local sports channels... for Celtics is CSNE... and you also pay for the sports package, you should always be able to go to that channel... regardless of which feed they map to the NBA channel number 751 or whatever.

They'll be on CSNE regardless if you have SP or not since you have LP, unless the game's on ESPN/ABC/TNT/NBATV. Stop worrying & enjoy another Eastern title followed by a 3-peat for my Lakers. ;)

I have never had a subscription to NBA League Pass but am looking at it this year and would like to know if all of the games are broadcast in HD or not.

If not, is it not due to DirecTV bandwidth issues? or NBA doesn't allow them to?

    Thanks

No not all, but most are. It's not bandwidth...it's contracts allowing certain feeds.

Yeah, the NBA was so competitive in the 60s.:rolleyes: Granted, 5 were verse the Lakers, but the NBA was lame then.

    Look at recent years...Number of titles since 1980: Lakers - 10, Celtics - 4

All 3 are...Nets on YES, Heat on SUN, & Knicks on MSG.
