It will not be the same w/o Law & Order (the original).I am not sure I will watch the new LA series.
Other than (not then) SVU and Dateline, there's nothing to see here...keep moving along.
NBC hacks can't even write an interesting press release.
EDIT: ...but thanks for the post anyway
I went ahead and took NBC out of my guide...
NBC: No Broadcast Content
Wow looks like i'm down to only Chuck on NBC. Maybe i'll check out "The Event", maybe.
Chase looks interesting....it'll get a one time record
I have a friend who has seen the first 2 episodes (rough cuts, nothing but voice) of "The Event"... he says it has HIT written all over it.
NBC?? Oh yeah, I rememmber that channel
NBC Nothing But C**p.
30 Rock is all they have going for them.
I'm beginning to get the impression that having Comcast buy NBC Universal will be less of an impact to the media market than first thought. :eek2:
Since they sh1t on Conan I have boycotted them, even the Olympics, even tho my wife watched some of the games per usual....
Your "boycott" is meaningless. :nono2: Get over yourself.
Your skills as a boycott organizer need some honing.
Choices are good.
Boycotting is fine....its a right we all have.
I suspect that most folks would find that eliminating the opportunity to view other programming that may be of value, purely to support the principle of a boycott, might be quite challenging...but if it works for you....nothing wrong with that.
I'll probably say this about a dozen times over the next few months... 2009-2010 is probably going to be remembered as the last year of the Golden Age of Television. The last span of years have been far better, imho, than any years in the past, in terms of the quantity of quality television, factoring in both artistic and technical considerations.
2010-2011, therefore, will be known as the first year after the Golden Age.
To be fair, NBC is offering Undercovers, which I suspect will become my wife's and my favorite new show of the year. Other than that, we'll stick with Chuck and Parenthood, and will probably record a couple of others (though probably won't watch them).
Pretty bad that a major network doesn't have any new programming for Sat. nights. It's all repeats from the prior week.
