Watching the Loyola of Chicago vs Kansas State game. TBS now has judder in the picture and audio and not smooth picture. The more I see this happening on stations with sports like ESPN or Now TBS the more I believe DIRECTV is doing this crap on purpose. What the hell is going on?

My broadcast seems to have gotten better after looking at another post someone said to check my numbers on satellite 99. The numbers were all above 80 in the 90’s to be exact.

I saw it, too, on TBS. Watching NHL Network now, smooth as can be.

Ok, I’ll bite. What’s behind this conspiracy ? Why do you think they’re doing it on purpose ?

Not so much a conspiracy as it is AT&T moving like Molasses going up hill in July when it comes to addressing/correcting issues with DIRECTV service/equipment.

Kansas and Duke game is choppy as hell. I'm not seeing the same issues on my cable system.

I think you might have a problem with your system. I have no problem today and this is another channel than the other day when you posted. I would call them and have them come out to fix it. We pay too much to put up with that.

If you have motion control in your TV you might try turning that OFF.

The games on TBS were choppy yesterday but the games on CBS are fine today.

Can you take a video of what you're seeing to post here so everyone is on the same page? I doubt everyone who reads this is working off the same definition of judder.

Sorry, Too late. I switched over to cable because I wanted to watch the game. I don't know if the motion issues ever cleared up.

It's too noticeable. There are channels that are having this issue. ESPN is one that has had the judder for a long time now going back to College Football Bowl season.

But it isn't everyone. I haven't seen it on any of my receivers. Might be DVR only, might be Genie only, etc. We don't have enough people reporting this to narrow it down. Hopefully Directv does.

That's weird, I have never seen it on either an H20-100 or H24-700, on a half dozen different models of Panasonic plasma and two different models of LG plasma, plus a couple LG 4K LCDs. Maybe its a bad interaction between the receiver and the brand of TV you're using?
