Per The Hollywood Reporter 'NCIS' Renewed for Two Seasons at CBS:

At "it's inception" this was the regular cast:

At the end of Season 15, Pauley Perrette still won't be old enough to receive that membership invitation letter from AARP as she'll only be 49. But Harmon will be on Medicare.

And Sasha Alexander will be retired from "Rizzoli & Isles" at age 44. Oddly when Emily Wickersham joined the cast as a regular I thought she was kind of young. It turns out she was about the same age as Alexander was when the show started.

I'll keep watching because somehow they keep coming up with decent episode story arcs. But the show is getting a little long-in-the-tooth.

Tony goes back before episode 1 of NCIS he was in the 2 episodes that were part of "JAG" . Four of the five actors pictured were in the JAG episodes the female lead at that time was agent Blackadder.

Yes we do have a thread here Michael Weatherly to Exit 'NCIS' on the subject of Tony leaving.

As Wikipedia notes the April 22, 2003 "JAG" episode "Ice Queen" is not only an episode of that show, but the first part of the pilot for "NCIS". This was also referred to as "Navy NCIS: The Beginning (Part I)".

Sounds redundant. One of the image tiles on my DISH receiver a couple of weeks ago had the large word Navy then CIS as the title (instead of NCIS). Navy NCIS is navy navy.

    It is a decent show.

I still like the show, but I can't argue it is as consistently good as it was back when it first started. I often like the LA spinoff more... Still not decided on the New Orleans show. I like most of the actors, but the show itself just never excites me to want to watch it... it isn't horrible, but I never feel like I want to watch it.

To me, they have 3 different themes.
NCIS is most always about solving a murder of a Navy or Marine person.
NCIS LA is most times about spying, bombers, terror type stuff.
NCIS NO is usually a murder also but has a lot more about the Forensic Science than either of the other 2.

Yeah, that seems about right... Each show has a mix of all that stuff at times, but seems to focus more on one aspect.
