On 3/18/19 KTLA 5.1 and KDOC 56.1 changed their OTA broadcast freq.
I can rescan local channels, but when the rescan is complete, I hit the OK button, then about 10 seconds later, the 722K locks up and reboots, so I can't add all channels.
I have 2- 722K's and they both do the same thing and I can no longer get 56.1 or 5.1 OTA channels on either one.
Has anyone been able to do a OTA rescan and get the 2 channels back?

Have you tried contacting the broadcasters or DISH?

Back in the early days of digital TV I had a station that would do that to my digital tuner. It was a problem with their PSIP encoder.

The 722K's are the only device that I have that have a problem.

I called dish the day of the change and they told me other customers have called in about the same thing and they had no answer.
I called 4 days later thinking they may have a fix, but now they claim they have never heard of this problem.
I was hoping someone in my area could try a rescan and see if it works for them.

I would call the station engineer - there is possible PSIP light quirk what is sensitive for 722k FW

I have no idea what that means or what I can do about it.

Contact the station, if they want you as a viewer they should try to help you.

There are 2 channels involved, so I don't know which one to call. My other TV's rescan with no problem.
On 4/12/19 CBS is also changing in my area.

One thing I should add is I don't know for sure if it has anything to do with the channel change or if it is just doing a rescan on the 722K.
Other than doing a first scan on a replaced 722K, I don't think I have ever had to do a rescan before.

There are several stations that will be moving due to the FCC ordering "packdown" of broadcast TV stations to free those frequencies up for cell phone and other uses. Here in KC , we have had one so far with another scheduled within 2-3 weeks. Mostly should just involve doing a new channel scan for OTA channels. With your 722K issues - try deleting all current OTA channels, unplug the 722K, pull out the adapter, power up again, unplug the 722K from power again, put the adapter back in, power on, then re-scan for OTA channels. You won't get Guide info until you do a check switch.

I have thought about deleting all channels, but I am afraid if I still can't do a rescan after that, then I am really screwed. I am still hoping that someone here on the forum can see if they can do a rescan successively. Your plan may work, but I better wait a little bit before trying that.

Try deleting the offending channels and doing a manual scan. Hit Menu, 6, 9 and select the offending channels and click delete. Then select Add Locals, type in the offending channel's real channel numbers, let it sit for several seconds and see if the same thing happens.
