Some people just have too much time on their hands. I'm goiong out on a limb here and guessing he's single. Most of us would have a pretty hard time explaining what we were doing to our wives.

Not sure the Six-Fingered Man would approve.

The first ammendment done to the Austraulian Constitution was in 1906 and was:

1906 – Senate Elections – amended Section 13 to slightly alter the length and dates of Senators' terms of office

You might have a point, but that old saying, "Opposites attract" doesn't always apply to marriages. Or, he's probably beaten her into submission.

I have one of those obnoxious neighbors. I put up a six foot fence between our houses and explained to him in detail why I did it. Haven't heard a word from him since. Good fences do make good neighbors. Cost me a couple grand, but I don't find him roaming around my yard in a drunken stupor anymore.

Aww, now someone's gonna Google the Australian constitution and find the proper part that applies to this situation.

If he does, he's probably as well thought of at work as he is at home. Shame of it is, you can't change people. You can't choose neighbors or relatives, just learn to live with them.

If he lived closer, I might commission him to carve the tree in front of my house.

Living in the country and owning enough land helps in eliminating neighbors like this. Family, unfortunately, you're stuck with.

The have freedom of speech provisions in their Constitution there too...

Then again...if this was done at the time of George Washington...there might be an Australia counterpart looking for an axe...

I've seen a lot of beautiful wood carvings done with chain saws. I'm waiting for a local business to go down the tubes and I'm gonna make an offer on a life sized bear he has in front of his property.
