Netflix app sound output

    I had a Hopper 3 installed yesterday. All is well with one exception. The Netflix app will only output in PCM.

    When watching the Hopper 3 (all channels) I am getting Dolby Digital Surround. When I switch to the Netflix app, it goes to PCM.

    I have my Hopper 3 running HDMI to my SONY 4K LED. I am running Optical Audio Cable from my LED to my Sony receiver.

    Again, it works fine with everything accept the Netflix app.

    It is a bug. If you run an optical output from the Hopper 3 you can get DD/DD+ in Netflix.

    That's a bummer. I also have a Apple TV on the same LED. Only one optical input on my receiver.

    They still don't have this fixed, it is still stereo no matter what sound stream or language is selected.
