So I already had 2 hd-dvr's. I have had Directv for a little over 3 years. My original DVR was a HR21/100 then about 2 years ago I added a second dvr and they gave me a HR22/100. I liked the HR22 much better mainly because of the larger hard drive 500gb vs. 320gb. Now Directv offered me a free upgrade to another new DVR. Wanting one of the new HR24's I agreed and set up an upgrade to the swm system and whole home dvr. The csr said I should get the hr24. Well Sunday they came to do my installation and the tech gave me an HR21/700. That model is as old as my original dvr from over 3 years ago, and I can't imagine it is even new. I am really upset because this also has the smaller hard drive. Do I have a right to be mad and do you think Directv will give me a newer model if I complain? The tech said he has heard of them but never even seen a HR24 and there is no difference in the 21 and 24. This seems more like a downgrade rather than an upgrade. Thanks.
