New episodes not recording, errors on demand

    The problem is the dates are embedded in the program metadata and the channels won't (or can't) change it.

    New episode recorded on its own the other night. Viewed with no issues.

    Seems the network and/or DIRECTV corrected whatever was the problem.

    Next episode queued up in the to do list all by itself. Maybe I'll watch it on an LG tv, see if that affects it like you hinted at earlier.

    When we went thru Hell with the HRs at inception I kept thinking I fixed problems only to have them crop up again, hope that doesn't happen to you.

    I'm fairly certain this was a network issue with how they denote "new" episodes and the conection with their server for on demand downloads. Not a hardware nor software issue with my Genie.

    I'll find out soon.

    Still recording episodes fine.
