Might be there, if you look at 283 at 6 AM it says "To Be Announced"
That's not a real channel, just a portal to access 3D On Demand.
On an unrelated note, it appears that DIRECTV is including ESPN3D in their channel counts which I think is bunk because it is a part-time channel.
I'm expecting 3D to be a lot like the early HD rollout. A lot of people paying super big bucks for technology that is still not settled.
I hope for those who are early adopters that it works for them and they are happy. But if it is anything like the HD rollout it won't be mature for a few years.
At least the DirecTV content is "free" (included with HD Access) or only $1 more than HD for PPVs. That situation is better than when HD was introduced (although no local broadcast stations).
Actually, DirecTV's HD content was free for several years...
... and if memory serves, HD PPV was only $1 more than SD PPV...
"The more things change..." or "what has happened before, will happen again".
I'm not quite sure which saying is more appropriate.
Once you get older and wiser, you learn not to be the first one to jump into new tech.
For some people, being older and wiser means having more money specifically to be the first one to jump into new tech.
I could be wrong, but I don't think D* is doing this. Only the n3D channel was to be counted in the HD counts. At least that is my recollection
I may have counted wrong. I will have to double check when I get a chance.
So any word on when the next wave is coming?
Nat Geo Wild is on 283. Sd for now but its a good add. Hopefully HD soon.

It's there - and appears to be SD only. Too bad.
Does not make my Favorites list.
Learning from your own mistakes is considerably more expensive than learning from the mistakes of others.
Would be amazing, glad GoltV is coming, hope we see FSC/FS+ soon. Especially hurts paying extra for FS+ and it's not in HD.
Does not make my Favorites list either. No HD, No want
This thread ends tonight... just a reminder.
I'll miss this thread. It's been a fun (and sometimes bumpy) ride and I've learned a lot.
Looking forward to the July thread (or will it be the "July/August" thread?)
Q3 HD Thread
My avatar says it all.
No 3D channels should be counted as HD channels. I have an HDTV, but I cannot possibly receive those channels.
Some people (myself included) enjoy it. It's not always just about the money.
