The inside of mine doesn't say anything about March Madness, it has that show again and Sonny with a Chance on Disney in the middle and some upcoming movies on the premiums on the right then packages and prices on the back. I guess we do have different ones. Odd.

Im sure its a misprint. A year ago, D* had a national flyer that said "see all the NFL games in 1080p.".....they later corrected it the next week. Don't hold to much into it...

I saw the same flyer with Kimora and MMM. I am in Raleigh, NC. I will check to see if it has the additional HD later.

Is CSPAN even worth using a high def channel? doesnt it only show senate and house proceedings? I think the most those could justify is 480p...

The pics just say CSPAN & CSPAN2...not HD.

Also, the AVS National HD chart says CSPAN 1 & 2 aren't available anywhere & are TBD.

Same with the others. It shows their SD logos (msnbc, Travel, etc.) I don't see specific wording that the listed channels are in HD, they are just listing popular channels in each category...

Well they are listed in a box that mentions HD and every other channel listed in there is available on Direct TV in HD, most of which don't say HD beside them either.

CSPAN went all digital in June of last year and the equipment they purchased has MPEG4 HD capability IF & WHEN they decide to upgrade. No upgrade has been made to date.

Looking at the ad, I see that on the far left it talked about the "200 channel capabilty" and then displays a lot of channels to the right... it does not say they are all in HD.

I haven't been able to find any indicator on GOLTV web site they are in HD... ?

    Northern...
The flyer I got here in Northern Michigan is alot different. Front is plain dark blue, 50% off for a year/$29.99 yr offer. The 800# listed is different than in the photo's, mine says 888-999-7319. Inside is an HD channel list by names, "the numbers don't lie" stats column, 5 Myths Busted column, which is partially different than the photo's. Rest is show promo stuff, ie "Being Erica" "Obsessed" "Twilight" "Sunshine cleaning" "Secret Diary of a call girl" "Spartacus". Back is the packages, pricing, equipment etc stuff.

I noticed this too, some of the channel logo's have "HD" with them and some don't, including the Weather Channel, does not have the HD in the logo, but that is an HD channel, CNN right above it does have HD in it.

Just another case of misleading advertising. They claim "200 channel capacity" on the left, and then show 200 channels hoping readers will assume all 200 of them are HD, since it says HD on the left. Its sad when you have to scrutinize everything to make sure you arent getting scammed. Shame on DirecTv (and Dish).

There must be some regional flavor to these inserts. Mine was in the Albuquerque Journal. None of the HD channels listed are new, and include some regional sports networks. The four pager does not mention March Madness, as that refernce is included in a Qwest bundle insert.

I agree that it's probably a case of misleading advertising, but it does say 200 HD channel capacity, not just 200 channel capacity.

I live in the Charlotte NC area, but I don't subscribe to that rag. If I can get the insert from a neighbor I'll scan it up put it up here unless someone else does it first.
