Hello , First time post... wanted help on a new install.. not sure if I've purchased the correct equipment.

    I have :

    Slimline Dish... 22" x 32
    LNB - single - Part # SL3KNR0-02 (4 outputs)
    Directv Splitter - MSPLIT8R0-01 (8 outputs)
    Power Inserter - P121R1-03 (21v Power Inserter).

Reading docs on the web I think I have the wrong LNB?

Can I connect HD receivers to LNB without power and splitter?

    Any help is greatly appreciated

    Thanks in Advance

Would like to help, but since you are outside of where DirecTv can leagally provide you service, I can not. Sorry.

Yep, that's the wrong LNB if you want Single Wire Multiswitch. But you can use that LNB without any power inserter since it can be powered directly from a Receiver/DVR. And, with four outputs, it supports up to four tuners.

Of course it's not legal for you to use DirecTV equipment in Canada.

RobertE was very polite in explaining the situation as was Litzdog. While we understand that sometimes people don't put their correct location in their profile (or don't update them) I do see that you are not posting from the US.

So I'm closing this thread. Sorry, but thems the Canadian rules.
