Maybe I have missed this before somewhere, but I did a signal strength test today and two new satellites came up, 99(cr), Transponders 2 and 3 active, 82/75. Also a 103(cr), no signals, but 1-18 reading 0, and 19-32 N/A. They weren’t there yesterday.

Did you get a 4K upgrade recently?

And now I checked on the HR54 downstairs and 2 more transponders showed up, 16 and 17, 84/76 on 99(cr). I just had a new dish put in yesterday as the tree removal company bashed my old one. 101 signals run 79-100 the most being in high 90’s or 100. 99(ca) 82-92, 99(cb) 84-92, 99(s) tp 21/22, 100 my region for locals. 103(ca) 88-95, 103(cb) 86-94.

It's the new dish. You can now get the reverse band signals that will be used for future programming (4K).

It’s strange though, they show up on the HR21 and HR54, but not on the two HR24’s. I suppose the 24’s because they aren’t 4K receivers, but why on the HR21? I guess it doesn’t matter much until I get more 4K tv’s for the rest of the house.

You probably had a reverse band LNB installed with your new dish and if they didnt run a dish setup when done.. it probably took a little bit for the box to realize there was a new LNB

Actually I got the reverse band LNB in October, not with the new dish. I will try the rerun sat on the 24’s, thanks for the tip.

just a note of precaution: 4K is NOT equal RB and RB is NOT dedicated to 4K channels.

Unless you are in southern California, your signal levels are a bit low.
