Monday night I watched 2.5 new shows.

I also watched a couple of returning shows.

Bottom line after sampling one of the new shows I stopped it half way through and deleted the timer too.

I'm on the edge with the Chase & Mike & Molly to where I'll give them another chance.

House with Cuddy's reverse cleavage in bed with house, well that's Fox for you.
2 1/2 Men, still somewhat sleazy.
How I met you your Mother, I',m undecided. Last season it was one of the shows that got watched when nothing else was on.

So far not impressed with the new fall season.

Tonight I'll definitely be watching Warehouse 13's season Finale part 2 first.

Some of the Cable channels summer shows were more interesting than the Big 4 networks stuff so far. Shows like Rizzoli & Isles, Burn Notice, Leverage etc.

Am I the only one disappointed so far?

Not disappointed, yet... but have at least 5 or 6 days more of premiers (since some won't premier till next week).

How I Met Your Mother, returned in good form last night.
I liked the first Mike and Molly, but it is just hte first.
Chase was okay, time will tell.

We still have Hawaii and Event to watch from last nights recordings.
Tonight we have a light recording schedule (for us), Glee, Warehouse 13, and Dancing With the Stars.

But Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday... full slate... and more shows start up next week that we are looking towards.

Plus we don't have dates yet on V's return, Stargate Universe (hoping Season 2 imporves significantly).

V I'm not sure about return date, but SG:U returns next Tuesday the 28th at 9PM (my HR21 will catch the 11PM rerun due to conflicts).

I watched three new dramas Monday night:
    The Event
    Lone Star
    Hawaii Five-0

I liked Lone Star the best (although it got hammered in the ratings). Chase didn't interest me, so I chose not to watch.

Actually, I thought it was a very good season opener, setting up a new recurring story arc. Tastefully done, smart dialogue, and still maintaining the overall theme of the show - curing someone's illness.

And we'll miss 13 (Olivia Wilde) who is going to be gone from most episodes this year.

I'll let you know in a couple of months.

I generally don't watch new shows until I get an idea if they'll stick around.

I've got enough returning shows to watch to keep my busy anyway.

I'll probably make an exception for The Event, though.

Haven't watched the Network premieres yet.

I gave Terriers (FX) two episodes and deleted the series. Too many other shows on to waste time with this one.

We watched Lonestar last night and thought it was very good. The Event got a lot of hype but seemed a little confusing.

So far, I have done the following:

    Running Wilde#
    NCIS LA*
    Hawaii 5-0*
    Mike & Molly?
    Lone Star#

Shows with an * got a Series Link
Shows with an # are no go
Shows with a ? the jury is still out

The biggest disappointment so far was the much hyped "Lone Star". To pull this off you are going to have to really like the main character and at least so far this isn't the case. I will give this show another week or 2 before kicking it to the curb.

Running Wilde may be the most criminal mis-use of talent in history.

I have recorded but not yet watched The Event.

Lone Star was the one I watched 1/2 of, stopped it, deleted it & the timer.

I just set a timer for episode one of The Event to sample it.

I watch TV for light entertainment. Fluff IOWs

I stopped watching LOST approx 1/2 way through season one when it became to convoluted. So far Lone Star is the only one I've canceled, The jury is out on a couple more. I suspect I'll be passing on the courtroom types of show after sampling them.

Rumors are already flying that "Lone Star" is in deep trouble. Being discussed on the Entertainment Weekly and TV Guide sites.

This is just New Shows that I series linked and watched the stars I give them 1 out of 4, 4 being best

Boardwalk Empire = 4 stars “favorite new show”
The Event = 1 ½ “breakout the paddles, but will give it another look”
    Mike & Molly = 3 “has potential”
Hawaii Five-0 = 3 “I want to see where it can bring me”
Raising Hope = 2 “on Life support”
Running Wilde = 2 “on Life support”
Detroit 1-8-7 = 1 ½ “first casualty of the new season meaning 1 and done, off my series link”
The Defenders = 1 “second casualty of the new season meaning 1 and done, off my series link”

I have two dual receiver DVR's and 6 EHD's with 5TB and I still have a problem ... there is every chance I won't live long enough to watch everything I had already recorded before this season started.:eek2:

Of the new shows, so far I like Mike & Molly, The Defenders, Whole Truth, Outlaw.

I'm not crazy about Detroit 1-8-7, but I'll give it another shot. Imperioli trying to act like Clint Eastwood doesn't do it for me.

Also not sure how I feel about Raising Hope. I'll have to watch a couple of more of those.

I deleted Bleep My Dad Said before the first commercial. I deleted Running Wilde about half-way through.

Haven't watched Outsourced yet, but it's on my playlist. I'm also just recording the Lone Star pilot tonite.

I thought the returning shows we usually watch were all good: House, 2.5 Men, L&O:SVU, Bones, Glee, Fringe, CSI, Mentalist, CSI:NY (with a promising new cast replacement), Modern Family, Middle, Medium, Castle, Grey's, Office, 30 Rock, Big Bang, It's Always Sunny...

Haven't watched NCIS, yet, but I assume it's still good, and I'm hopeful Criminal Minds and Good Wife will still be good as well.

The Mrs. has also been enjoying Parenthood and DWTS.

I'm also looking forward to the L&O:LA premiere next week, but still bitter about losing the "original".

Just watched "Better With You" on ABC. How did this awful show make it to the air? Annoying characters, silly plot.
