i have a ripped dvd on my pc. i have tried playing it on my tv through tversity and directv hr24-500 media share but it just starts and stops. it acts like it needs to store info. before playing it. if this is the case is there is there anyway i can store it to the dtv receiver and then play it later, i would also like to be able to watch another program or preciously recorded program while this is happening.
    thanks in advance, larry

Not so far as I know. It may be that information is coming in faster than your D* receiver can deal with it, or else your local network is overloaded. For the first sort of problem, I tell my server (MediaTomb) to lower the bit rate it uses to send over the network. Perhaps TVersity has a way of doing that.
