Dish Network announced today that they will offer local TV channels to Macon, Ga., and the surrounding area. More HERE. Also, locals will launch today in Wichita Falls, TX. More HERE.

Looks like the The DBS auction went well for Dish Network and Cablevision/Rainbow (Voom). Cablevision/Rainbow was after the 175 and 166 orbital slots while Dish desired spectrum at the 157 slot. Both pretty much got what they wanted. More info HERE.

Mark Lamutt has posted the release notes for the latest Dish DVR-921 software upgrade (L186). You can read them HERE.

Don't forget, it's not too late to join the Amazing Race contest. First prize is a Pentium 4 computer! Danny R, one of our valued members, is doing a bang up job running the contest with lots of great twists and turns. Details HERE.

    Update 10:45am CDT
