    An interesting article appeared this morning on how satellite TV is slowly gaining on cable. More HERE.

    The International Bureau at the FCC granted a request from DirecTV to move one of its satellites to an orbital location controlled by Telesat Canada. DirecTV said it will use the satellite to expand local TV into an additional 24 local markets. More HERE.

    A la carte is still a hot topic. Programmers came out in force against any proposed a la carte regime in comments filed with the FCC Friday. More HERE.
