Kind of a slow week for news but we do have a couple of items.

Dish has a new hybrid Ku/Ka-Band satellite that is scheduled for a Sept 24 launch. The satellite will operate from 105 degrees and support advanced video and broadband services. More HERE.

In case you missed it yesterday, XM will be releasing a new satellite radio with a 30 minute buffer allowing the user to "pause" and "replay" programming. Very cool stuff! More HERE.

Dish Network has reclaimed the top spot for customer satisfaction according to J.D. Power and Associates. More HERE.
