Yes I understand that I was just making an observation that all this time Directv had a Note screen regarding the blackout with the link to tvpromise along with music. Now there is nothing no music, no graphics screen. I was wondering if that meant anything or not.

what market are you in, cause it's possible that a Nexstar owned CBS station may had be mistakenly turned back on when the CBS O&Os were being restored and corrected the mistake.

    Phoenix,...
I called and an LCC was sent. I also got the $30 discount. I’m pretty sure after several scans and antenna placements it found all available stations.

@cdrr @dtv757 @Willh Looking at the list of stations owned by Nexstar from Wikipedia in the Wichita, KS market Nexstar owns KSNW-NBC. CBS Corporation doesn't own any stations in this market. KWCH-CBS is owned by Gray Television and is not involved in any dispute with AT&T/DirecTV.

KWCH-CBS was temporarily blacked out on AT&T's streaming service DirecTV Now during the CBS Corporation dispute (July 20 - August 1 2019) where CBS Corporation has the authority to negotiate for the entire CBS network on streaming platforms but that should have been restored by now according to the DirecTV Now Local Channel Lookup Tool.

This is the list of affected disputes for the Wichita, KS market:
    • KSNW-NBC 3 - Nexstar Media Group - July 4, 2019 - present
    • KMTW-MNT 36 - Mercury Broadcasting Company, Inc. (LMA with Sinclair Broadcasting Group) - June 10, 2019 - present
@cdrr if you have a Genie model HR44 and HR54 and are able to get either KSNW or KMTW via an antenna you can request an LCC (Local Channel Connector) from DirecTV. This will allow you to connect the receiver to an antenna and the receiver will allow you to watch and record their programming using the signal from the antenna. The LCC comes with a free indoor antenna and you can check the signal strength before calling at https://signalstrength.directv.com/ to see if the included indoor antenna would be strong enough (aka green) to pull in your NBC or MNT stations.

I just read in the Buffalo News that our local Nexstar station claims that they heard of a D* customer who called D* to complain and received $50 off per month for a year if they agreed to extend their contract for one year.

I haven't heard any offers this generous and wonder if it's BS?

Anyone heard any offers close to $50/month????

I'm guessing that discount was not really based on the situation with NextStar. It was a retention incentive.

Tuesday I got a $60 X12 discount on my Premier package just for asking. And they didn't even require a 12 month commitment.

Why do I get this feeling that the Nexstar channels are never coming back?

I wonder if Nexstar & DIRECTV are even negotiating? The Channels have been off the air a month & a half. This is a Long dispute.

Never is a long time. Right now it is a game of chicken ... neither side wanting to relent to the other side's demands.

Well in 2016 Dish and Tribune had a long dispute which saw Tribune's stations + WGN America were not available to Dish subscribers from June 12 - September 3, 2016 so a potential 11 week blackout isn't unheard of. Right now AT&T/Nexstar is just at Week 7 of their dispute. Since it is a larger group I would expect a deal but AT&T has been very hard on negotiations.
