Got it 10pm CST for a few min then it came back then out for a few seconds.
ok, well, glad to see I wasn't the only one with the problem.
This is a modern-day Heidi. At 11PM my broadcast dissapeared and am getting the channel not purchased message (I am in Cleveland). Less than 5 minutes to go in the game and a tight score. This is unacceptable!
After six minutes, it looks like the fixed it.
this happend already 4 times tonight
WTF is wrong with DTV
are they trying to blackout more games :nono2:
it has been on and off in the DFW area during the last 6 minutes of the game...
Between exactly 10 and 10:03 PM CT,the (721) message has popped up 3 times here.
We haven't had the issue for the entire game, and now it gets inside of 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter.
Someone at DirecTV needs to quit playing with the switches. :sure:
Foolish me... I rebooted before I came here so now I"m waiting for my 7 minutes for my DVR to boot up.
Looks like it is fixed, I wonder if this has something to do with them "lifting" the blackout in Cleveland?
I hope the game is over by the top of the next hour.
Clueless CSR reauthorized my receivers. Told her she better reset everyone in the country
Why do they ALWAYS think its a problem with the receiver?
How do you know that?
happened at top of each hour 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 so i watched the game on channel 104 the sports mix....went back to channel 212 about 2 minutes later & was fixed.
Because cable rarely deals with "Authorization" issues like D* does, or not that I have seen.
It probably happens on E* too, I am thinking its one of those "nature of the beast" type of things that comes along with having DBS.
Sheesh, I thought it was my box messing up. i was so mad I smacked around the poor little HR20 a bit.
I started recording the game at 8 and left to walk the dog. When we came back, my box was locked up and wouldn't boot after several resets. When I finally got it running again 30 minutes later, I looked back at what I had recorded and there was a "looking for authorized content" message during the recording and then came the lockup. Then the channel went out during the last 5 minutes of the game, but thankfully there was no lockup this time.
Thanks DirecTV. Thank goodness for the live feed on NFL.com.
I wish mine would have stayed out...dang Browns. :nono2:
you're correct. It wouldn't be happening with Comcast. They don't carry the NFL Network.
No kidding. I live in South Carolina and don't subscribe to Sunday ticket, and so when I DO get to see them...this is what we get?
Believe me when i say i can feel your pain.
Comcast in my area does, they carry it as part of their "sports pack" I believe.
