NFL ST 2019 ???

    I have had it with these idiots and their subjective discounts. Called today and cancelled. We have been a customer for 15 years with Premier Package. Enough is enough............

    Why are they refusing discounts to long term subs and giving them to short term subs?

    I know the above statement may not be totally accurate but that’s the impression I get after several attempts myself and from posts I’ve read.

    Been with them for about 5 years, also wireless for over 3. I just called 9077 and asked the agent about offers on NFLST and she showed that my account had the free normal ST offer. (Max is nice for the RZ but it's not a dealbreaker for me not to have it) I have the agent name and confirmation number, but this is the first time I've looked this in-depth for individual transactions since the takeover. Does the ATT interface have the same recent transactions list that the old DTV website did? I haven't found it yet, which is how I used to confirm that the transaction was handled correctly.

    EDIT - nm, I actually got a confirmation email (something I've never seen before) and the order was correct. 293 for standard ST, 293 credit.

    That is the question. I guess technically we agree to a certain amount on our package & technically should pay it with no issue. And I know I am willing to do that, but for the the ST it's a lot, so I only call during this time. I know what gets to me is when people on here say they call & just ask for the same discount and will get it. For the rest of us we call & nothing. I was insulted when I couldn't get so much as $10 off a month but was paying for Premier then they told me to lower my account. Plus, the math makes no sense. My stepdad is a longtime customer & hates the haggling so he just doesn't get ST anymore. He says it's too much. This month he called to tell me he was lowering his package & decided to do that online just not to call. His nephew hasn't been a customer as long as us and apparently has been called about ST. We've never got a call.

    And now you can't even trust them to do what they say. They removed ST off my account & gave me Max free, but I was charged for ST the other day & there is still no automatic credit on my account.

    Are long time subscribers having more luck with the retention line (1-800-824-9077) or the VIP line (1-888-666-0027)? I used the retention line Friday night and they said they had no offers for me. Last year I had a $65/month credit and $12.25/month off of Sunday Ticket. This is the first year I have called and gotten the response that they saw no offers for me. I am not under contract either so that floored me.

    I had absolutely no luck with the 9077 number, the 0027 number (isn't VIP, but Loyalty as well) I got one time bill credits & my husband was offered $12.25 off. VIP is where he got the good deal.

    Anybody have any luck adding Sunday Ticket Max after getting the free regular Sunday Ticket? I've tried chatting a few times to ask about upgrading but they always wan't to completely remove the free Sunday Ticket and add the full price Sunday Ticket Max.

    Max is regular ST with Red Zone and Fantasy Zone

    Called today because I was streaming the game online with Sunday Ticket and they went to another game for the Chiefs and Jaguars game. I now know that there was an issue with a production but that is not my problem. I want what I paid for. I got a $45 credit for missing part of the game. That was nice.

    Premier customer here and I've been with DirecTV since 1999. I also have ATT wireless and their home security Digital Life. I got absolutely no offers on Sunday Ticket or Max. I will be cancelling with my $60/month off for one year credit expiring next billing cycle and the only reason I have DirecTV is Sunday Ticket. Bye bye ATT!

    I guess I should call up my local CBS station and ask for that discount also as I missed the end of the same game via OTA? It was the production truck at the stadium that crashed.

    Unrealistic expectations.

    With some of these credits I wonder if a subscriber could get a credit if the power went out at the subscriber's house ... Or their mother called and they missed the end of the game. Anything to make some subscribers happy.

    Meanwhile other subscribers never see a credit or discount. Odd.

    I’ve been with Directv for 10 years, currently getting 55x12, this offer expires tomorrow. I just called 0097 number, it’s no longer in service. Called the 0027 to sit on hold for 15 minutes.

    Finally, I ask if eligible for new promotion and was only offered 30x12. I said no thanks, I’ll look elsewhere. He then said I could downgrade to save money. I told him no, not worth my time. He said to call tomorrow once present offer drops off. I’ll try and see and what happens, but the 0027 number didn’t give me any impression this was a retention or VIP number.

    Not getting what I pay an arm and a leg for does not make me happy. One could say that DirecTV was not responsible for this but neither was I and I dont want to pay for something I dont get but am supposed to.

    'One could say'?? DIRECTV was certainly not responsible for the outage. It was a CBS production truck that failed. When it first happened, I shifted to my antenna. No game there either.

    Exactly. Thats my point. These businesses dont get to make their problems my problem. I paid for something I didnt get. Sunday Ticket is not cheap. If you rent a car and its supposed to be unlimited miles do you not get mad if you go turn it in and they charge for extra miles? You paid for unlimited and you didnt get that. Dont matter who is at fault for it.
