That's good & I think usually what I get. I don't have any premium channels anymore, but do get HBO for free. I had them until they had me drop my package down to Choice to save money. So my offers can be $20 or $25 off for a year, but this time they say I have nothing. Although they did supposedly give me $5 off for a year and took off my Advanced Receiver HD charge ($10) along with Whole Home ($3). But when my husband calls he usually gets $50 or $60 off a month for 12 months on top of what they have already offered me. Even when I pointed that out last year & was told x, y, & z. He called & got $60. I got $10.

Right now my bill is going up to $110 without Sunday Ticket. I am willing to pay $100 at the most because I have Hulu & Netflix subscriptions.

You better have another cup of coffee if you think your next bill is $79. According to my math you’re saving $15 a month. Next bill will be around $154. You added Sunday ticket ($49 a month) and are saving 64 a month.

The only discount I had when I started the chat was the Starz $6.99/month deal. I think I did good and yes, I already had more coffee ;).

That is correct. Lol. And yes, anything on top of what you had is a good deal. It is $117 a month before the NFL, but you are saving money. It is why the $190 in one time credits they gave me is almost like getting the NFL for free if I can get the season for $220.

Tried a few times to today, got nothing. Did not even seem to care about the Nexstar issue. Offered my an antenna. Has anyone ever used or know someone that has used NFLSUNDAYTICKET.TV? You can get that for under a 100 bucks. But only an internet stream like MLB.TV.

I used it 2 years ago

It only allows 1 log in , no STBs

So if you only have 1 computer or TV your using . It works perfect

If u have multiple tv setup may not be the best option.

Same local blackout rules apply .

Its basically the online version of NFL ST for students or users who cannot have DirecTV installed .

CBS channels are back on so if you were losing those any leverage is gone. Not like it made a difference before. I told the NFL department I wasn't going to pay same price for ST if I couldn't see games on CBS.

If you have/had DIRECTV in your current location, then pretty much you're not eligible for streaming.

21 year subscriber, I just did my annual call to cancel Sunday Ticket Max. They offered 16 dollars off and a $5 -12 month. They said call back in a month because my current 12 of 12, $50 credit expires on this billing cycle. I think I'm done with DTV. My bill w/o credits is $186 with no premium channels, they only reason I have DTV is ST. With Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and bye weeks, the product is watered down. Once the byes start, typically there is only 2 late games on and one is national.

    My Bill: $186
    Additional TV - 6 @ $7 = 42
    Advanced Receiver-DVR - Charge $10.00
    DIRECTV Whole-Home DVR Service - Charge $3.00
    CHOICE XTRA CLASSIC-no lcl - Charge $96.99
MOVIES EXTRA PACK - Charge $4.99
    Advanced Receiver-HD - Charge $10.00
    Network: ABC - Charge $3.50
    Network: CBS - Charge $3.50
    Network: CW - Charge $3.50
    Network: FOX - Charge $3.50
    Network: NBC - Charge $3.50
Primary TV Free - PrimaryTVFree ($7.00)
Regional Sports Fee - Charge $8.49

Was able to get after a few calls total of 55 off for 12 months, 7 off HBO for 6 months, and 16.50 off Sunday ticket for each payment. Been a subscriber since 2000. Credits last year had just fallen off.

Well, these messages inspired me to call. I got no offers. Not even $5 off for 12 months even though 2 reps have offered it to me. Apparently that is contingent on Autopay. I ended the call with a one time $40 credit. At this point I have been given $235 in credits since this saga started last week. I also was refunded the ST charge of course making it $284.

Directv is so stupid at times. Initially most of us call to get a deal on ST. They refuse to give me more than $12.25 off a month for it. They refuse to give me any monthly credits yet will give me $235 off. I wasn't even asking to get it for free, but here I sit $60 away from the cost not accounting $12.25 off.

Or maybe I'm stupid for staying with a company that charges me more for less channels and lies to me about the credits they're going to give me ($10 off Advanced HDR, $5 off for 12 months). ST is the reason I put up with it but maybe this season I should see if other ways for me to enjoy football, which will make the break easier.

Premier with MLB, NHL, and usually ST since 2007.

Monthly $60 credit expired last bill, so I always call in before my Aug. 20 bill is created.

Last year received RedZone free, $60 X 12 off Premier, and a combination of smaller discounts totaling $32 per month X 6, which were renewed in March, so they have one more month to run.

Called today and received the $60 X 12 again. He said there were no ST discounts "currently", and RedZone free was not even populated in their computers "yet".

He suggested calling right after Labor Day before the season starts the following Sunday.
RedZone would be fine for me as my interest in the NFL has waned.

    Good luck to everyone.

Is “RedZone free” paying for regular ST instead of ST Max?

Customer/ST subscriber since 2003. ST Max since year or two in. No discounts on anything until the last few years. No current discounts. Called month back in order to not have ST Max auto-renewal first installment happen. Regular number. Person I spoke with didn’t bat an eye when I asked to cancel renewal. I was in final month of promotions, and know I could’ve asked, at least. But I really only watch RedZone the last few years & would need a very generous offer to continue. Then again, I’m already missing RedZone and privately cursing Directv for refusing to separate it out like all if their competitors do (including the local one)...
