Probably not, but there has been no official announcement yet. My guess is we'll all see all of the 4K games produced by FOX (they're all Thursday night games).

    Those are Thursday games
Not part of "Sunday " ticket

So we will officially know next month

But based on standard rules everyone should get it ...

I just posted above but so far the only announced 4k games are Thursday games so one shouldn't need ST for those games

Never said they were part of ST. As a matter of fact, I also indicated they are all Thursday night games.

Made the first call tonight. Called 1-800-531-5000. Just completed my fifth year with DIRECTV, my subscription choices are in my signature. Also have AT&T Wireless, but do not have services bundled.

Explained that we’d just moved to a new home and have not yet called to reinstall service. (Just streaming through apps while we get settled.) Said I was evaluating options and interested to see what credits were available, as my last bill credits expired with my last bill, which I have paid.

Current offer that just expired was $60/month for 12 months. Was offered $20/month for next 12 months, with no contract extension required, along with a one-time $63 credit (which equates to the $12.50/month Sunday Ticket others have been offered.) Will mull it over, call back in a few days and see if anything else becomes available. I’m not unhappy with the offer; it accomplishes my my goal of getting Sunday Ticket for essentially no cost. But I’d at least like to give it a second go-round to see if anything better comes my way.

Sorry I replied to the wrong post. Another poster had said that the only announced 4k games were Thursday games when in fact I have scene nothing about the Thursday games being in 4k for sure. My bad.

TAKE 2: Tried the online chat route and made less progress than I did via telephone. My gut feeling says that the offers won't get much better if I keep trying. I truly enjoyed DIRECTV since day 1 of installation, and Sunday Ticket is a core part of my TV experience through football season. But seeing what my bill will be for the next six months isn’t enticing at all. It’s a sign that I need to explore other providers.

I’ll put in my cancel order tomorrow and see if that sparks any last ditch efforts for a winback offer. But an install at our new place would likely incur a contract extension, and I’m unsure I want to commit to that, either. Maybe it’ll work, maybe not. There are always greater tragedies. For those continuing to try, may the odds be ever in your favor.

Called again today. Have Choice. Best they could offer was $30 off for 12 mths. To replace my $60 off for 12 mths expiring Sept 7. Also had to re-cancel my ST again $48.99 mo, as my prior call of 8/3 the rep didn't get that cancelled. This rep said that he cancelled it this time, and I would see the credit n the next statement as well.

$30 I would take since they aren't giving me anything. The credit should show up within 2 days on your "Bills & Transactions" page.

Some people on here have said they were more than willing to cancel them. For the most part I think most of us aren't getting offers.

As someone who has quietly mulled around these Sunday Ticket threads for several years, it definitely appears that the discounts have been limited. Hopefully that changes for others over the next two weeks before the season starts. I’ll be a little bummed to not have DIRECTV, but it’s not the end of the world to me.

Best of luck to everyone continuing to hunt for discounts. :)

    Hi, everyone.
Over the next few weeks, we're going to read lots of stories here about calls to get ST discounts - or hopefully freebies.

    May I ask a favor?

As you write, please state the DirecTV package you have and how many years you've been a sub.

We are all treated differently. How much you spend and how long you've been a sub is a very important part of the "roulette" equation.

    Thanks!
    cmasia

PS: Premier, CI, EI, since 2007... Never paid for ST and have either received free or given Red Zone.
Monthly discounts just expired. Called last week and got $60 X 12 discount, but nothing on ST.

Will try again right after Labor Day.
