When will NFL Sunday Ticket start for sub Pre or Reg Season?
Here's the full schedule link...
Sunday Ticket starts the first week of the regular season. You don't need Sunday Ticket for pre-season games as they are all on NFL network.
Here's one that includes preseason:
All except those broadcast nationally by FOX, CBS or ESPN (I don't think NBC has any pre-season games but they might). Not all pre-season games on NFL network are live, though. Most are delayed.
Here is another version of the preseason schedule on one page [link], showing nationally televised games, then the week by week listings. And ssandhoops, there are a couple games listed on NBC, starting with the HOF game. Don't see the NFLN schedule for preseason games yet. In the past they did show all the preseason games. Some games were live, the rest were prerecorded.
They'd have to be, as there are lots of games going on at the same time.
Yep, but at least we get them all now. I used to use C-band to watch them and it was a hassle trying to find which Sat and transponder they were on.
Plus all preseason games were in HD last year, which was a big deal then. I'm sure we all just assume that this year and hopefully we are right.
ALL 65 games are on NFLN either live or replayed.
Even the national tv games on fox, cbs, nbc, espn are replayed on NFLN.
And, if recent history is an indicator, week 1 will be free for everybody.
Not every preseason game is shown in HD. I know that the Titans local preseason broadcasts are all is SD (with no HD in sight), and they aren't alone. But there are definitely more HD preseason games each year.
All the preseason games were HD on NFLN last year & this year will be too.
Now if the cheap local affiliates choose not to broadcast the HD version thats up to them.
Not sure how they did it, but like dcowboy7 said, they were all in HD. Here is the [link] to last years announcement.
I believe that every game was being broadcast in HD by the broadcast/cable outlets of at least one of the teams involved. If both broadcasts were in HD, NFL Network switched to the other team's coverage at halftime, as is their standard procedure; if only one was in HD, NFL Network stuck with that team's coverage for the whole game.
This is because ABC here in Nashville still does not have an HD studio and they are the one's that is doing the game. They and Fox need to get it together! I like Lisa Patton but I like the HD news better on NBC.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but last year didn't they alternate entire broadcasts instead of switching at halftime? I know they rebroadcast every game multiple times, and I believe they used different HD feeds instead of switching like they had in the past? Maybe I'm wrong though...
