NFL Sunday Ticket 2021

    Since I do not see this thread title posted yet, here we go. Good luck everyone!

    I get the authorization for ST on Ch. 112 right now- 'You are all set to enjoy 2021 NFL Sunday Ticket every Sunday' with the ST logo below it.

    I checked 'My Programming' online and it says 'NFL SUNDAY TICKET MAX 2021 $0.00'.

    I click on the 'X' after that and it pops up and says 'You are unable to remove this online. Please call customer service at 1-800-531-5000'. I had ST Max last year but removed the auto-renew back in February off my account.

    I then check my recent activity and there's two entries-

    07/11/2021 XXXXXXXX1111 NFL SUNDAY TICKET MAX 2021 HD - Charge $0.00 $0.00
    07/11/2021 XXXXXXXX1111 NFL SUNDAY TICKET MAX 2021 - Charge $0.00 $0.00

    A recent different thread contains others here with the same success story. It's like winning a small lottery to me (savings of $415.15), and no multiple fricking phone calls needed this year! Again- good luck to all. :thumbsup:

    I noticed the same thing, under "My Programming" on my account.

    I think you'll find that these entries are "place holders" for the 1st payments due on your next billing cycle.
    I might be wrong, hopefully I am for your sakes...

    So, I had the same line items on my bill as several others showing a charge for $0.00. I had cancelled my auto renew after the season, and I too had the screen on channel 112 that said it was authorized for this season.

    I called DirecTV today and was told, as I suspected, the auto renew had NOT been cancelled and the charges on my bill just were a placeholder for the charges that were to come.

    So, if you have a charge on your bill, I'd call to make sure you don't get surprised.

    Also, she told me to call back in August for possible promotions.

    Calling won’t solve it either because I wouldn’t be surprised if they just see the 0 dollars and say the same thing

    Well, here is what is interesting.....I called them, told them m problem, then they transferred me to a member of the "NFL Team". She told me that I had authorized, and after the call channel 112 showed me as no longer authorized.
    She told me that I would have been charged for Sunday Ticket had I not called. Of course, I was told in February when I called that auto renew was off and we know how that turned out.
    I'll call in August and see if they will throw me a bone. I have been with DirecTV since September 1994.

    Are you on Legacy DirecTV billing or morphed over to ATT billing?

    Still on legacy DirecTV for billing. My account number has not been changed since 1994.

    Yea me too, but ONLY since 1998! At least I got it in writing on the DirecTV iPhone chat earlier. I’ll use this when I file a complaint with the BBB when they start charging me like Comp says will happen. A loyalty CSR at the 9077 number also told me earlier today that I will not be charged and put notes into my account just in case I was on a future billing statement.

    Last year i didn't get charged until the September bill, i am expecting the same this year since my august bill already came in and ST is $0.

    I got on the DTV chat yesterday, asked about Sunday Ticket Max, Jenny said I would be getting it for free, been a valued customer, Proactive Loyalty Offer free for this season. Hopefully its true, she said rest assured I will be getting it for free. Been with DTV since 1995, never have I gotten it for free without asking? Maybe this is their farewell gift to me?

    I did the chat today and the person I chatted with said there were no promotions on Sunday Ticket at this time. He also said "I put detailed notes on your account and you will be notified as soon as the promotion starts", which is most likely a line of BS to get me to end the chat. I'll check again in a couple of weeks.

    Save the chat transcript. That will be part of your opening statement to the BBB should they start charging you the monthly fee.

    Just a FYI- that’s the exact same answer I got, and have it in writing just in case. The only other caveat my loyalty rep told me was that some of those who paid for it last year, are getting it this year for free. :thumbsup:

    I also called today, also told it was free and that it would not auto renew for next year.
