Has Comcast announced that?
Since when do they have to announce something for an assumption to be made and run with as fact?
I thought they announced it this past week?
Baseless assumptions are your forte.
No one has announced pricing. The NHL was still working on pricing yesterday and free wasn't an option.
Sounds good to me. As always thanks for the information SR.
Don't forget to cancel by the 18th if you don't want to get locked in. No assumptions there, just fact as of 1/11/13. Even satracer confirms it will be on sale next weekend. Baseless assumptions are that "adjustments" have been made to overturn longstanding Directv policies.
There will be a grace period for auto-renew subs.
When, and for how long? Cite a single source on how this will work so we know this isn't baseless assumption.
ITS OVER FINALLY YES FULL STORY HERE BREAKING NEWS
Really trying to get everyone over to THE thread, huh?
well its the main thread for all hockey news I mean that's the title of it, covers all, and doesn't matter If you have directv, dish, or whatever.
plus I hate covering or posting stuff twice.
I hear ya. I like having one thread instead of 5-6 like we've had in previous seasons. But this one was supposed to be about DirecTV pricing, but it went a little off track. Plus pricing was also being discussed in the other thread.
well notice in the title of the other thread
nhl 2012-2013 thread / NHL Center Ice / All NHL topics
that covers all you need, it works for any provider, so I agree this thread should merge, but that's up to a moderator.
Let's Play Hockey!
Do you how many NHLCI subs there are or are you just guessing?
How many total ? How many have D*?
It is a ratio. Doesn't matter how many there are. If you make the price zero based upon sales for next year, the only way you break even is if half would dump a pay service. Not exactly, of course, but the order of magnitude is about right.
Center Ice will be $60, @DirecTVService tweet out
Can you provide a link? I can't see it on their feed.

@juggalette_52 Our NHL Center Ice package will be a 4 pay of $14.99 for the entire season to see out of market games.
