Any suggestions for watching the Sedins ceremony tonight since generally DTV doesnt turn on feeds early for Canadian feeds and I doubt Comcast Chicago or whatever will air 90 minutes early.

I’m not in front of my TV to check if its still there but as of last night there was an actual time slot in the CI channel block for the ceremony. Started an hour before the game. I know because i set it to record.

Grew up a Ranger fan, so have always hated the FishSticks, but...

Saturday, Channel 771-1 will carry Butch Goring's Jersey Retirement Ceremony, beginning at 11:30AM eastern time, prior to the Isles game v. the Bruins.

Hated him, but he was a big part of their 4 Stanley Cups - in a row!

Hoping they remember us subscribers when figuring out how to come back to playing. Reduced rate next season or perhaps even [gasp], some type of refund?!?

Yeah, it’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out (pun intended). Since the season is technically on hold indefinitely, I wonder if us CI subscribers will still have nhl.tv access past when the regular season was scheduled to end?

NHL.TV has this posted. Sounds like anyone can watch games from earlier this season.

NHL.TV™ is not for sale at this time. Check back when games are scheduled to resume.
In the meantime, watch any game from the 2019-2020 season for free. Simply log in to or make an NHL.com account then go to NHL.com/tv to stream. For access within the NHL app tap the scores tab.

    Hi, LAC.
    With all due respect...
    1) Most of us reading this thread probably bookmark SportsNet, ESPN, NBC, ESPN, TSN, and other sources for the latest news, so....
    2) A post like yours should have a bit more behind it before you send the rest of us, in a panic, to try to get details on your "report".
    Cheers,
    cmasia

So they want 4 arenas to host 3 games a day.Since we talking about spring and summer. That should eliminate any southern arena's.( 98 degrees in Miami yesterday makes for poor ice conditions ) Plus NY and NJ are out.
How long does it take a team to load all the gear into the visiting locker room for a game ?
How long to unload it then find some place to store it after each game ? 6 teams will have to do this every game day .

What happens if a player tests positive for virus but has no symptoms ? 14 days in quarantine ? Will players agree to play games while the US is under health care federal emergency ?

How long will it take players to back in shape to play games ?

Seems the best course of action is to just cancel the rest of the season. We have have lost games to a lockout by the NHL and it wasn't the end of the NHL.

I agree. As much as I love hockey I think they should just call it a day and shut it down, then come back stronger than ever next season.

Add me to the list of folks wanting to cancel the rest of the season. As much as I really miss hockey, especially the playoffs that should be happening right now, I’m consoled by the fact that wouldn’t have to see my CBJ either miss the playoffs or get bounced in the first round. Again.
