    Please no junky Voom channels.

I'd rather reserve the bandwidth for later when there is better stuff in HD (like, say, Comedy Central HD).

And The Wealth Channel, are you kidding me?

If MSG-HD comes on I'll be shocked! That fool Dolan owns MSG and Cablevision.

They used the same guy in the commercials stating that iO is already a fiber network as a jab at the FiOS ads. Granted they were most likely talking about their network backbone... accurate enough that they could get away with it. Cablevision may have all the local RSNs in HD for now, but we will see MSG HD before the end of this year. I wouldn't be surprised to get FSNY HD around the same time as MSG HD launches either.

But then why would D* have the MSG HD logo on their website and in other ads for their HD lineup? I would think that would mean MSG HD has to be coming soon.

I'm betting on Wednesday with MTVHD, CMTHD, VH1HD, and likely Spike HD and NickHD. But this is only a guess on my part. :D

The Monday launch was most likely because Fox Business was launching that day. Unless there is a new channel launching on Monday, I'd still bet on Wednesday.

I just would like to see NBATV go national HD for the upcoming season since that is the only place I'll see my Suns outside of ESPN and TNT.

I haven't done much research on NBATV HD, but it is planned, but I can't even speculate as to when it will be available. I would hope sooner than later.

Hopefully soon, as the NBA season is about to start up. NBATV has broadcast HD games for a couple of years now (even before ESPNHD and ESPN2HD rolled out). In fact, D* carried some of their HD games for those with the HD pack/Sports pack back then... they didn't really do that last year as they opted to show select regional games from the RSN's for NBALP.

Then I'd say the capability is there it just needs a way to communicate, hence it could be this Wednesday but I'd suspect it will be the following Wednesday, Halloween. This would be a great start to their season I would think. So I will call that in next week's thread. :D

Stuart, have you, or has anyone else heard anything about MSNBC? The reason I ask, is they (and NBC news) moved into a new HD friendly environment as of this morning. They were bragging up everything HD on the Morning Joe show today, and it made me wonder about MSNBC going HD, as I haven't seen it mentioned or even speculated about.
