OTA TIMERS NOT RECORDING

The only way I can get an OTA channel to record is be watching the channel I want to record at the time of the recording. Or I can switch to it and it will start recording. Once it starts I can switch channels and it will keep recording. I shouldn’t have to do it this way. Glad I still have my Tivo.

 

I had the same behavior. Replacing the OTA dongle fixed it a couple of months ago zero problems since. But my dongle was only about a year old so expensive to have to replace it that soon.

 

I have an older 722K receiver, but I had a problem with timers not working on a station where the guide for the channel I was trying to record was also incorrectly showing on another channel. I went into the channel setup and deleted the channel that was showing the incorrect guide data and it fixed the problem.
