If you force the download of guide info, the entire 9 day guide shows up. I did it on both my 501 and 921.

This also smacks the LifeTime "Charlie is a man, man bad, Dish hates women" argument around a little.

Wonder what will happen in 2 or 3 years when Oprah and Co ask for a small price increase?

It depends on whether that small price increase also requires carriage of Oxygen 2 and Oxygen 3. ;)

This is a no win situation for lifetime. Not only are the currently off E*, which means a decline in viewership, which means the price they can charge for commercial time will need to be downward adjusted. But, more importantly, their number one competitor for women's programming (Oxygen) now has how many million additional homes in which it is seen? Although Hearst and Disney may long remember this and this may cause problems for E* down the line, this has been played brilliantly by E*. And even more important, Oxygen's programming is not that bad from Xena, Grace Under Fire, Ellen, Roseanne, Living Single, etc.

I have nothing against Oxygen. A good addition I guess. But I hope that we get Lifetime back. i don't ant to takea side in the programming sispute. But I do notice that the list of things I no longer have access to on E is growing and that disturbs me.

I am for instancean NHL fan and mainly the BRuins and Caps. I fist got E* partly because the Bruin road games were on WSBK which I got through the superstation package. That is no longer the case (not DISH's fault) and I can't even see the regualr coverage of the league on OLN. Add to that the fact that I have no access to most Washington Nationals games, that I even miss several key AL east matchups because of the dispute with YES and wel staying with DISH gets harder to justify---particularly since it is no longer the cear low cost provider.

You might want to know that Oxygen free preview is a lie. I subscribe to the superstation package only and I'm not getting it.

What exactly is the lie? Did they say somewhere that it was going to be available to absolutely everyone that has anything on Dish?

From what I've seen, it is a "free preview" to the AT-60 customers that won't get it later because it is an AT-120 package channel. I don't see that as a lie.

Of course, if they said somewhere in writing that it is a free preview to "all Dish Network customers", then maybe you'd have a point. I just haven't seen that.

Yep ... just like the free preview of Encore Love was just for AT120 subs.
