I'm sure that was posted already, but I am too lazy to check back.
Some people have too much time on their hands, but it was funny and worth watching.
"OT" is an infamous poster on various soccer boards. trust me, he is ALWAYS wrong on those boards, too. Disregard anything he posts.
Funny, best post in the thread since the weekend.
Pac 12 network looks pretty good especially with the settings set to 1080i. It will look even better in HD. The key is if viewing on an HD tv always set the settings to 1080i. The picture is almost always clearer.
Oh I do already. He seems to be VERY biased about BeIN sports. Makes me think it was him who wrote the GOLTV statement.
This has been discussed many times in many different threads, but it all depends on the television. For many televisions, the Dish (or DirecTV) Receiver does a better job of scaling than the TV does, in which case, you would be correct. There are many higher end TVs, though, that do a better job of scaling than the receiver does, so in those cases, it will look better if you have the receiver pass the native resolution to the TV and allow the TV do the scaling.
Dish has uplinked Pac-12 in HD, plus 4 ALT Pac-12 channels in HD. They aren't available yet to subscribers.
They probably will be before the weekend. They put them up in SD because they wanted them up quickly, with the promise of HD coming. I would imagine that if the uplink works, DISH subscribers will see PAC12 in HD this weekend.
Available at 4:41pm ET ... main channel and four alts.
EPG for the main HD channel is the same as the SD but the HD content is not showing at this time.
That's great news for Dish Subs! Pac-12 HD is around the corner!
Now hopefully DirecTV can swing a deal.
Yes. Good news for Dish subs. Maybe they are reevaluating their sports stance. That would be a good thing.
Especially since Directv has started using Dish networks old play book.
That is a stretch.
I'd rather have this network than the WORTHLESS Big 10 Networks... Big 10 sports are garbage.
They better have this up by Saturday!!
#22 UCLA vs. Houston is only being shown on the Pac12 Network!!
UCLA vs. Houston is garbage.
My post about calling is against the rules.. I have to edit.. Oh well.. GO PAC12
Oh, goodie. What in the internet world is called a denial of service attack. I guess the only real victims will be those customers trying to do business with DirecTV at 10 am PT today. On the surface an interesting idea. When you look beyond that, not so innocent.
How about at 11 am PT, everyone call the PAC 12 offices. Wonder how they would like that?
