This mess with cable, sat and IPTV will all merge eventually and you will have to pay high cost for TV again. But It won't be in TV bundles or packs this time. It will be the high cost of each network and or channel that you wont. The most popular will be the highest price and the less popular the lowest price. So you will have to pick your channels wisely to get a price you can afford. Then you will have the cost of an internet provider that will give you unlimited data other wise it will cost you a lot more for TV. Depending on where you live the providers maybe limited and have hire priced IP plans. Once you add it all up it my end up costing you about the same as cable tv or sat tv today with there bundles and packs. The only thing you will gain from this is that you only have the channels that you wonted to pay for.

Many of us have been predicting this all along. Eventually I can see it getting to the point where you subscribe directly to each studio. Sony/WB etc will pull all their content from Netflix and you will have to subscribe to Sony to get their shows, WB to get theirs, Netflix to get their originals etc.
