Playlist gone

    HR44-700. A couple of recordings were in progress. When I viewed the Playlist it was, unexpectedly, totally blank -- even though the full list was available on the other DVRs in my Whole-Home network. Had to do a reset to get it back.

    Same here. I've been playing recent recordings thru my HR34 History. I'll do a menu/reset when I go to bed in a few minutes. And wait until I get up to check out the result.

    This was reported after the last CE. I see Druifer did download the CE but if kram did it was under a different name. And yes a reset normally cleared the problem.

    Same problem with an HR44-500. Playlist suddenly blank, but did show remaining disk space at bottom of screen. Reset fixed it--for now.

    This happened to me last week on HR44-700 with 0xba9. This never happened before this software release. Also having issue of the HR44 losing the bedroom's HR24 playlist via whole home. Sometimes the HR24 shows come back on their own and sometimes I have to reset the HR44. The HR24 does not lose the HR44 list. This latest HR44 software sucks.

    Same here, HR44-500 clients and the server playlist is continually empty. Restart fixes for a while but then goes back out. Happened last few days.

    True, but missing PlayList took days after install. And yes, a simple Menu/Reset does clear it and probably the reason for so few reports.

    I "chatted" with a DirecTV support person last night. They are aware of the problem and are working on a solution. In the meantime, the workaround is a reset. Not that it really applies to programmers, but I did take the opportunity to remind them of the Hippocratic Oath--First, do no harm.

    I had the missing playlist on my HR44 about a week ago also. A reset seemed to fix the problem. The problem we are seeing now is that new programs recorded on one of the two HR24's aren't showing up in the playlist on the HR44. For example, Lip Sync Battle. That records on the bedroom HR44. We have a folder that has several of the old recordings still in it. This past week's episode is not showing up in the playlist on the HR44. If I go to the bedroom HR24 and pull up the playlist on it, the new episode is there. I can also go to the HR24 in the basement, and the new episode shows up there also.

    I just did a restart of the HR44 and that seems to have fixed the problem for now. I will keep an eye on this to see if it happens again.

    I had the blank playlist too and a reset fixed it. I now have issues with recordings from my HR24 downstairs not appearing on the HR44 right away.
